Construction of Two Motorable Bridges Brings Benefits to Over 4,000 Households in Tanahun

Tanahun: The construction of two motorable bridges in Tanahun district has directly impacted over 16,000 people residing in 4,000 households. The Infrastructure Development Office in Tanahun reported that these bridges span Mygdekhola, connecting wards 4 and 7 of Myagde Rural Municipality, and Buldikhola at Sera in Vyas Municipality.

Both bridges were completed in the current fiscal year, contributing to improved connectivity and accessibility for the local residents. The Mygdekhola bridge, constructed by Mai Construction and Builders Company at a cost of Rs 14.1 million, has facilitated better transportation in the region. Additionally, the Buldhikhola bridge, built by Mai-DS JV Company with a construction cost exceeding Rs 31.2 million, was completed before the stipulated deadline.

Funded with assistance from the Swiss Government, the completion of these bridges has brought joy to the local population, providing them with enhanced road access to transport their local produce to the market.
