NEPSE Index Rises by 11.58 Points

Kathmandu: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index saw an increase of 11.58 points today, closing at 2,588.35 on the first day of the trading week.

A total of over 12.48 million shares from 325 companies were traded, with a total transaction volume exceeding NPR 5.9 billion. Despite a general rise, sectors such as finance, hotels, production, microfinance, and mutual funds saw a decline.

Eastern Hydropower, Atmanirbhar Laghubitta, and Upper Sangee Hydropower achieved a positive circuit, while Rawa Energy Development recorded the highest loss, dropping by 8.65%. CEDB Hydropower Development Company led in trading volume, with transactions totaling NPR
