Kathmandu: Three major private sector organizations have condemned the violent protests, vandalism, and lootings that took place in Tinkune, Kathmandu, on Friday.

In separate statements, the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) and the Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI), along with other business organizations, called for assurance of security and protection of their right to conduct business without threats.

The FNCCI strongly denounced the arson and looting of private media houses, businesses, and offices, urging the government to provide compensation for damages. It also stated that attacks on public property and businesses were unacceptable and condemnable.

The organizations further urged concerned authorities to ensure security in public spaces and take immediate action to prevent such incidents in the future.
