Kathmandu: Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC), the national flag carrier, is gearing up to launch regular flight operations from Gautam Buddha International Airport in Bhairahawa to Hong Kong and New Delhi, India starting from August 29. Travelers will have the convenience of booking tickets for these destinations with a transit stop in Kathmandu.
NAC Spokesperson Ramesh Poudel indicated that the Corporation plans to scale up flight frequencies based on market demand and NAC's strategic market management. As a part of this initiative, NAC will introduce a weekly flight from Bhairahawa every Tuesday, with the intention of gradually expanding services.
According to the flight schedule, departure from Bhairahawa is slated for 8:15 am, and the aircraft is expected to touch down in Kathmandu at 9:00 am. Subsequently, passengers destined for Hong Kong and Delhi will seamlessly connect to the respective flights operated by NAC.
To enhance passenger convenience, arrangements have been put in place for travelers to receive their boarding passes up to the final destination during the check-in process. Additionally, luggage will be directly transferred to the intended endpoint.
Passengers are encouraged to utilize the NAC's website for booking and acquiring online tickets, facilitating a streamlined travel experience.
