Pakistan Secures Victory Over Nepal in ICC U-19 Cricket World Cup

Kathmandu: In the ICC U-19 Cricket World Cup, Nepal faced a defeat against Pakistan by five wickets in their second Group 'D' match. The match, which took place at the Cricket Ground in East London, South Africa, saw Nepal posting a target of 198 runs after winning the toss and choosing to bat. However, Pakistan successfully chased the target in 47.4 overs with the loss of five wickets.

Bipin Rawal emerged as the highest contributor for Nepal with 39 runs. Despite efforts from other players, Nepal concluded their innings with a total of 197 runs in the allotted 50 overs. The win propels Pakistan into the Super Six stage from Group 'D'. Arafat Minhas of Pakistan took three wickets, while Ubaid Shah and Ahmed Hussain claimed two wickets each, and Ali Asfand, Khubaib Khalil, and Mohammad Zeeshan secured one wicket each.

Nepal's next and final match in Group 'D' is scheduled against Afghanistan on Friday.
