Congress General Secretary, Thapa, Affirms Equality Under the Law During Citizen Dialogue

Chitwan: Gagan Kumar Thapa, the General Secretary of Nepali Congress (NC), emphasized the equality of the law for all individuals. During his visit to Chitwan as part of the NC's citizen dialogue program, Thapa asserted that no one is above the law and that it should be applied universally. He stated, "Law is equal for all. All should be respected in the rule of law."

Thapa shared that as part of the citizen dialogue program, he has been actively collecting the opinions of citizens on various crucial matters, including the upcoming budget, electoral system, health, education, and development. The General Secretary highlighted that the NC has launched a campaign to align its actions with the aspirations of the people.

During the occasion, NC Chitwan President Rajeswor Khanal and Regional President Bharat Lamichhane elaborated on various aspects of the campaign. The NC's citizen dialogue program aims to foster direct engagement with citizens to better understand their perspectives and incorporate their voices into the party's initiatives.
