Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has reaffirmed his commitment to gradually complete infrastructure projects already underway, emphasizing the role of these initiatives in the nation’s development.
His remarks came as Thai Air Asia inaugurated flights on the Bangkok-Bhairahawa-Bangkok route from the recently completed Gautam Buddha International Airport (GBIA) in Bhairahawa.
In a social media post featuring a video clip of a Thai Air Asia plane receiving a ceremonial water salute, PM Oli shared, “International flights have started from Bhairahawa Airport. We are giving our attention to completing the already-initiated works in a gradual manner.”
According to the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN), Thai Air Asia will begin regular flights on the Bangkok-Bhairahawa route every Monday and Thursday starting November 9, marking a new phase of international connectivity from GBIA.
