PM Disaster Relief Fund Deposits Exceed Rs 1.81 Billion

Kathmandu: The Prime Minister Natural Disaster Relief Fund has accumulated nearly Rs 1.82 billion as of October 20, according to the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers.

The fund, aimed at supporting disaster survivors, has received contributions from various individuals, institutions, companies, and agencies.

The government is utilizing these funds for relief and rehabilitation efforts to assist those affected by the severe floods and landslides caused by continuous rainfall on September 27-28.

To streamline relief efforts, the government has also identified and categorized the most affected areas, ensuring a smooth distribution of aid to those in need.
