East Lansing, USA: As the US election nears its conclusion, Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump made high-stakes appeals to voters in key swing states on Sunday.

Harris, campaigning in Michigan, vowed to work toward peace in Gaza if elected president, aiming to bolster support from Michigan’s sizable Arab-American community. “As president, I will do everything in my power to end the war in Gaza,” she told a crowd at Michigan State University.

While Harris called for unity, Trump, campaigning in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Georgia, intensified his rhetoric, labeling Democrats as "demonic" and suggesting he wouldn't mind if journalists were targeted. Trump continued to claim without evidence that Democrats were attempting to “steal” the election in Pennsylvania, sparking concerns about his willingness to accept the election outcome.

With over 77.6 million early ballots already cast, both candidates are focused on motivating their core supporters and capturing undecided voters. Polls show a close race, setting the stage for a potentially historic showdown on Tuesday.
