Nepal Clinches T20 Series Victory Against Ireland 'A'

Kathmandu: Nepal emerged victorious against Ireland 'A' in the second match of the two-game T20 series held in the capital, securing a series win with a scoreline of 2-0, after triumphing in the first match as well.
In the second encounter, Nepal dominated with a convincing 71-run victory over Ireland 'A'. Opting to bat first after winning the toss at TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur, Nepal posted a formidable total of 198 runs for the loss of seven wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Gulshan Jha led the charge with an impressive knock of 46 runs off 32 balls.
Contributions also came from Kushal Malla (34 runs off 13 balls), captain Rohit Kumar Paudel (33 runs off 24 balls), Kushal Bhurtel (25 runs), and Sandeep Zora (21 runs).
In the bowling department, Matthew Foster of Ireland 'A' was the standout performer, claiming three wickets, while Ben White, Finn Hand, and Gavin Hoy chipped in with two wickets, one wicket, and one wicket respectively.
Chasing the target, Ireland could only manage to score 127 runs, losing all their wickets in 18.3 overs. Stephen Doheny top-scored for Ireland with 26 runs.
For Nepal, Kushal Malla and Sompal Kami were the pick of the bowlers, both securing three wickets each, while Bivek Yadav, Kushal Bhurtel, and Karan KC grabbed one wicket apiece.
