Kathmandu: The price of gold has experienced a significant drop of Rs 4,000 per tola (11.66 grams) in the domestic market today.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, the price of hallmark gold has been set at Rs 141,000 per tola. Meanwhile, worked gold is being traded at Rs 140,300 per tola. This is a notable decrease from Friday when the price of hallmark gold was Rs 144,000 per tola.
In addition, the price of silver has also seen a decline. It has dropped by Rs 75 per tola compared to Friday, now trading at Rs 1,825 per tola.
