Heat Wave Warning Issued for Central and Western Tarai

Kathmandu: The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has issued a heat wave warning for the central and western Tarai regions, advising residents to take necessary precautions.
In a special bulletin released on Thursday evening, the Department cautioned that districts such as Kanchanpur, Kailali, Bardiya, Banke, and Dang are likely to experience excessively hot weather over the next three days.
These regions have already recorded temperatures exceeding 40 degrees Celsius in recent days. The Department urged people in these areas to remain vigilant and take measures to protect themselves from the extreme heat.
