Nepal Reaches Final of CAVA Women's National League Volleyball by Defeating Iran

Kathmandu: In a highly competitive match, Nepal triumphed over Iran to secure a place in the final of the CAVA Women's Nations Volleyball League. The match, held on Tuesday at the National Sports Council complex in Tripureshwar, saw Nepal defeating Iran in straight sets with scores of 25-21, 28-26, and 25-20.

With this victory, Nepal will face India in the final of the League. Previously, both Nepal and Iran had advanced to the semi-finals, ranking second and third in the points table, respectively.

Following the historic win, Nepal's chief coach, Jagdish Bhatta, expressed his happiness, stating that Nepal's success came from learning lessons from past mistakes. Earlier in the league stage, Iran had narrowly defeated Nepal with a 3-2 set victory.

In the final match scheduled for Wednesday, Nepal will face India with high morale, having already defeated India in the league stage. The first semi-final between Sri Lanka and India, played on Tuesday, ended with India winning in straight sets, 3-0.
