Washington: Google has announced a landmark partnership with the Associated Press (AP) to bring instant news updates to its AI-powered chatbot, Gemini.

In a statement, Google described the collaboration as the first of its kind between the tech giant and a news organization, aimed at providing real-time content through artificial intelligence. The integration of live updates from AP is expected to improve the accuracy of Gemini’s search results and ensure users have access to timely and credible information.

While Gemini currently displays a disclaimer about its lack of real-time news updates, Google confirmed that the feature will soon be incorporated. AP's Chief Revenue Officer, Kristin Heitmann, emphasized the partnership's goal of delivering accurate and timely news to a global audience.
