New Delhi: India's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is projected to grow between 6.3% and 6.8% during the financial year 2025-26 (April 2025 - March 2026), according to the Economic Survey released by the Finance Ministry on Friday.
The survey also reported that, based on the first advance estimates of national income, India's real GDP and Gross Value Added (GVA) growth for the financial year 2024-25 (April 2024 - March 2025) is expected to be 6.4%.
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman tabled the Economic Survey in Parliament on Friday, ahead of the federal budget presentation scheduled for Saturday. The Economic Survey serves as a pre-budget document, offering an analysis of the country's economic performance over the past fiscal year and outlining projections for the upcoming year.
