Legendary Ghazal Singer Ghulam Ali to Perform in Nepal

Kathmandu: Renowned Pakistani ghazal singer Ghulam Ali is set to mesmerize Nepali audiences with a live performance at The Plaza, Pulchowk, Lalitpur, on March 15. The event, titled "Ghulam Ali: Three Generations on One Stage," will feature the legendary singer alongside his son, Aamir Ghulam Ali, and grandson, Nazir Ghulam Ali.
According to Milan Moktan, chairperson of the event’s organizer Sadhana Kala Kendra, Ghulam Ali is scheduled to arrive in Kathmandu on March 4.
Renowned Nepali musician Deepak Jangam expressed excitement over the event, emphasizing its significance for Nepal’s music industry. "Just like audiences who dream of hearing him live, musicians also aspire to work with him. This program is equally important for both artists and listeners," he stated.
Ghulam Ali, a maestro in the world of ghazals, has a special connection with Nepal, having performed several Nepali-language ghazals and songs. Some of his most beloved Nepali renditions include "Gajalu Ti Thula Thula Aankha," "Kina Kina Timro Tasbir," "Lolaeka Ti Thula," "Ke Chha Ra Diun," and "Nidharma."
With his deep, soulful voice and timeless compositions, Ghulam Ali’s upcoming performance promises to be a rare and unforgettable musical experience for Nepali audiences.
