PM Oli Meets Indian PM Modi During SCO Summit in China

Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a meeting on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit in Tianjin, China.
Modi Describes Meeting as ‘Special’
Indian Prime Minister Modi termed the meeting as significant and expressed his satisfaction through a post on social media platform X on Sunday evening.
“It was a pleasure to meet Nepal's Prime Minister Shri KP Oli in Tianjin. India's relations with Nepal are deep and very special,” Modi wrote.
No Official Statement from Oli’s Secretariat
Despite Modi’s public remarks, Prime Minister Oli’s secretariat has not issued any official statement regarding the meeting. Details of the discussion between the two leaders remain undisclosed.
Oli’s Possible India Visit
Sources indicate that Prime Minister Oli is likely to visit India at the end of Bhadra after concluding his China trip. However, the official schedule for the visit has not yet been announced.
