Gold and Silver Prices Surge to Record Highs in Nepali Market

Kathmandu: The prices of gold and silver rose sharply in the Nepali market on Sunday, the first trading day of the week, setting new all-time records.

Gold Price Jumps by Rs 2,400 per Tola
According to the Nepal Gold, Silver, Gems and Jewellery Federation, the price of gold increased by Rs 2,400 per tola. With this rise, the price of printed gold reached Rs 33,800 per tola on Sunday, the highest level recorded so far.

Previously, gold was traded at Rs 31,400 per tola on Friday.

Silver Also Hits Record High
Silver prices also saw a significant increase. The price of silver went up by Rs 290 per tola, reaching Rs 6,480 per tola on Sunday. On Friday, silver had been traded at Rs 6,190 per tola.

Highest Prices So Far
The Federation confirmed that both gold and silver prices have reached their highest levels ever in the domestic market, reflecting a sharp upward trend in precious metal prices.
