Mumbai: In a startling incident at Goregaon Film City in Mumbai, a leopard managed to enter the sets of the Marathi TV serial "Sukh Mhanje Nakki Kay Asta," causing panic and chaos among the crew and workers present. A video capturing the moment of the wild cat's entry into the film city has gone viral on the internet, further intensifying the concerns.

The Cine Workers Association has expressed its outrage over the matter, particularly since there were more than 200 people on the set when the leopard made its appearance. The association's president, Suresh Shyamlal Gupta, voiced strong concerns, emphasizing that such occurrences have become more frequent lately, with this being the third or fourth instance in the past 10 days. He pointed out that the lack of robust measures from the government to address this issue is worrisome.

The video footage shows the wild cat strolling on top of one of the structures on the set, while terrified individuals scramble for safety. Some people even managed to record the incident on their devices.

The event unfolded at around 4 pm on Wednesday, drawing attention to the apparent lack of effective measures by the government to control leopard movements in the area. In response to the alarming situation, Gupta declared that if urgent steps are not taken to ensure the safety of workers and artists, thousands of them would go on strike within the film city.

The incident has put the spotlight on the need for immediate action and heightened security measures to safeguard the lives of those working in the film industry at Goregaon Film City.
