Kathmandu: The prevailing monsoon rain is anticipated to continue over the next two to three days before giving way to improved weather conditions.
The Meteorological Forecasting Division has projected that it will take a couple of days for the weather to show signs of improvement. Barun Poudel, a senior meteorologist at the Division, mentioned that the ongoing precipitation is likely to persist until Friday, with the potential for heavy rainfall at isolated locations, particularly in the Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.
Today, the Division has forecasted generally to mostly cloudy conditions across the country, with the possibility of light to moderate rain occurring at certain places. Additionally, heavy rain accompanied by thunder and lightning is expected at isolated spots in the Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Sudur Pashchim provinces.
Similarly, for tonight, mostly cloudy skies are anticipated throughout the nation, with the likelihood of light to moderate rain occurring in numerous areas. Furthermore, there is a chance of heavy rain coupled with thunder and lightning at isolated locations in the Koshi, Madesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces.
As the days progress, it's expected that the weather will gradually improve, offering some respite from the continuous monsoon rainfall.
