Kathmandu: Prakash Man Singh, a leader of the Nepali Congress (NC), assured that the existing ruling coalition, established to uphold the constitution, would advance in accordance with the consensus reached among the coalition partners.

Speaking at a program organized in Kathmandu to commemorate the 109th birth anniversary of the late leader Ganeshman Singh, renowned as the Iron Man, Singh stated that the country was moving forward based on the agreements among the coalition partners.

Singh emphasized the robust foundation of the alliance, stating, "Everyone knows why this alliance is needed. The current coalition was formed due to the unconstitutional dissolution of parliament." He highlighted the significance of the coalition, formed in response to the Supreme Court's annulment of the parliament dissolution and the subsequent majority gained in the then parliament.

Acknowledging that the incumbent government operates in alignment with the alliance's agreement formed during the last parliamentary election, Singh stressed the importance of all political parties actively contributing to strengthening the federal democratic republican system established through the people's struggle.

The NC leader underscored the necessity of coordination among the three-tier government to enhance the effectiveness of public service delivery. He stated, "It is imperative to coordinate efforts among the three-tier government through the implementation of the Federal Democratic Republic."

During the event, Singh, who is also the son of the late leader Ganeshman Singh, along with NC cadres, paid tribute by garlanding the statue of the esteemed leader.
