Kathmandu: Finance Minister Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat underscored the importance of the effective implementation of development projects in Nepal with assistance from the Indian government. The minister expressed his gratitude during a 'project implementation review meeting' organized by the Embassy of India in Nepal and the Ministry of Finance of Nepal on Thursday.

Minister Mahat conveyed his thanks to the Indian government for its continuous support in uplifting Nepal's economy through various projects. On behalf of the Government of Nepal, he pledged to provide all possible support to ensure the speedy implementation of grant projects along with concessional loans.

The meeting, led by Indian Ambassador Navin Srivastav and attended by officials from both sides, focused on mutual cooperation and collaboration. Discussions centered around ongoing and upcoming projects, with a shared goal of advancing economic development in Nepal.

Various officials from relevant ministries, departments, and bodies of the Government of Nepal, as well as officials from the Indian Embassy in Nepal, were present at the meeting.
