US Announces $725 Million Military Aid Package to Ukraine

Washington, DC: The United States has unveiled a new military aid package worth $725 million for Ukraine, aimed at bolstering its defense capabilities amidst the ongoing conflict that began on February 24, 2022. The package includes a significant supply of artillery shells, missiles, and other critical military equipment.
US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan confirmed the announcement, stating that President Joe Biden has directed the Department of Defense to expedite the provision of necessary equipment to help Ukraine defend its sovereignty, independence, and freedom.
The aid package will deliver hundreds of thousands of artillery shells and thousands of additional missiles, with Sullivan emphasizing the urgency of these deliveries. He also reaffirmed the Biden administration’s commitment to ensuring Ukraine receives critical military support before the end of the President's term.
The United States remains Ukraine's primary military backer, consistently providing substantial resources to strengthen Kyiv's defense against the ongoing conflict.
