Kaski: The Pokhara Metropolitan City is set to announce Pokhara Visit Year 2025, with an ambitious goal of attracting 2 million tourists.
According to Mayor Dhanraj Acharya, the official declaration will take place on February 15. To ensure the success of the campaign, a 1,050-member main organizing committee has been formed, with Mayor Acharya serving as its convener. Additionally, he will lead the Directorate Committee, while 43 sub-committees have been established to oversee various aspects of the initiative.
"We are working towards the declaration of Pokhara Visit Year, and ambassadors from different countries will participate in the inaugural event," Mayor Acharya stated. Furthermore, the city plans to appoint goodwill ambassadors to promote Pokhara’s tourism in various international markets.
