Kathmandu: In a bid to simplify and modernize the justice system, an online system has been launched to improve efficiency and accessibility in judicial proceedings.
The newly introduced system will facilitate the transmission of hearing notices from the Supreme Court to the offices of Chief Attorneys in all seven provinces. Additionally, it will streamline the handling of special complaints at the District Court level.
Speaking at the launch event, Chief Justice Prakash Man Singh Raut emphasized the need for technological advancements in the judicial sector. He stated that the system would make the justice process more reliable, transparent, and free from irregularities.
"Digitalization is the need of the hour. The introduction of this online system will enhance trust in the judiciary while eliminating procedural inconsistencies," CJ Raut remarked.
The Supreme Court has been prioritizing the adoption of information technology to ensure judicial services are more efficient, smooth, and paperless. The move is expected to improve accessibility to legal proceedings and strengthen judicial accountability.
