Gaza: The Palestinian Red Crescent has announced that it has recovered 14 bodies, including eight emergency medical technicians (EMTs), five civil defense personnel, and a UN employee, who were killed when Israeli forces fired on ambulances in Gaza on March 23.

The Israeli military confirmed that its troops had opened fire on the ambulances, stating that they were identified as “suspicious vehicles.”

Incident in Rafah Amid Renewed Israeli Offensive
The attack took place in Tal al-Sultan, Rafah, just days after Israel resumed its military offensive in southern Gaza on March 18, following an almost two-month-long truce.

On Saturday, the Red Crescent accused Israeli authorities of blocking search operations to locate its crew. It remains unclear which UN agency the deceased employee had been working for.
