Over 121,000 Tourists Visit Nepal by Air in March

Kathmandu: Nepal welcomed 121,800 foreign tourists in March 2025, according to the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB). All these visitors arrived by air, contributing to a total of 298,000 tourists in the first three months of the year.

Tourist arrivals in January stood at 79,900, while February saw 96,800 visitors.

In March, Nepal received the highest number of tourists from India, with 21,412 arrivals. Additionally, 11,443 tourists came from China, 11,092 from the USA, 8,886 from Sri Lanka, and 5,995 from the UK. The South Asian region as a whole accounted for 35,287 visitors.

With tourism steadily rising, Nepal continues to attract visitors from around the world, reinforcing its position as a popular travel destination.
