Tehran: Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has declared that the United States “will gain nothing” from any war against Iran, issuing a strong warning following the recent 12-day military conflict with Israel.

In a video message broadcast on Iranian state television, Khamenei congratulated the Iranian people and claimed a strategic victory over both Israel and the United States. “Iranian missiles and other weapons successfully evaded Israel’s advanced multi-layered defense systems,” Khamenei said, describing the attack as a demonstration of Iran’s military capability and resilience.

Khamenei further warned Israel, stating that any future aggression would come at a high cost. “We are fully aware of the consequences of any confrontation, and Israel knows that such moves will be very expensive,” he added.

The remarks came two days after a ceasefire was reached on Tuesday, ending nearly two weeks of direct confrontation between Iran and Israel — a rare escalation in their long-standing hostility. This marked the first time Iran had launched a direct attack on Israeli territory.
