Class 12 Results Published: Over 61% Pass Regular Exam

Kathmandu: The National Examination Board (NEB) has officially published the results of the Class 12 examinations. According to the announcement made on Monday evening, 61.17 percent of students passed the regular examination, while 36.49 percent passed the partial examination.
A total of 396,347 students had appeared in the regular examination, which was conducted from April 21, 2025. Among them, 242,765 students secured grades, while 38.83 percent received a ‘non-grade’, meaning they did not achieve the minimum score required to pass.
In the partial examination, 114,640 students had participated, out of which 41,840 students secured grades.
In total, 511,525 students appeared in both categories of the exam. Of them, 284,305 students obtained grades, according to NEB Chairperson Mahashram Sharma.
The board also informed that the exams of 17 students—11 from the regular category and 6 from the partial—have been canceled due to violations.
For those who received a non-grade, the grade enhancement examination has been scheduled for Bhadra 28 and 29 (early September).
