Kathmandu: Rockstar Robin Tamang, the renowned lead vocalist of the musical band Robin and New Revolution, tragically passed away at his residence in Budanilkantha, according to sources close to the family. Tamang was a well-known figure in the Nepali music industry, having also made a mark as an actor in numerous Nepali movies.

Born in Singapore in 1963, Robin Tamang was beloved for his distinctive Nepali accent in his songs. His melodious voice and heartfelt performances endeared him to listeners across the country. Among his most popular tracks were 'Bhulma Bhulyo' and 'Nepal,' while his cover versions of songs like 'Dum Maro Dum' and 'Chiso Chiso Hawa' gained immense popularity.

Tamang began his musical journey with the band 'Robin and Looza' before eventually forming the new band, 'Robin and New Revolution.' Over the years, he captivated audiences with his powerful vocals and soulful compositions, leaving an indelible mark on the Nepali music scene.
