Weather Forecast: Heavy Rain Expected in Four Provinces Due to Monsoon Impact

Kathmandu: Today, the country is experiencing the impact of monsoon winds, with the axis of the monsoon trough shifting towards the north in the west and towards the east from its average position, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division. The weather across the nation is expected to be partly to generally cloudy.

In specific regions, there is a prediction of light to moderate rain in certain places of Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Karnali provinces, and at a few places in the remaining provinces. Moreover, there are chances of heavy rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in one or two areas of Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Karnali, as stated by the Division.

Tonight, the weather will remain partly to generally cloudy throughout the country, with the likelihood of light to moderate rain in some areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini, and at a few places in other provinces. Additionally, heavy rain, along with thunder and lightning, is expected in one or two locations of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Karnali.
