Kathmandu: In a significant development, the Supreme Court (SC) issued an order on Sunday, directing a comprehensive investigation into the Lalita Niwas land scam. The probe will now extend to include not only those directly involved in the decision-making process from the then Council of Ministers but also those who certified and implemented those decisions.
The division bench, comprising Justices Anil Kumar Sinha and Dr. Kumar Chudal, passed this crucial order, signaling a thorough scrutiny of all aspects related to the Lalita Niwas land issue.
