Kathmandu: Cloudy skies and rain are anticipated over the next three days in the region.
The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology's weather forecasting division has indicated ongoing light to moderate rainfall in select areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces. During the afternoon, some hilly areas, including Lumbini, may experience light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning.
As night falls, there's a likelihood of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in several regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Sudurpaschim provinces. Moreover, heavy rain accompanied by thunder and lightning could occur in a few areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.
Moving to Monday, heavy rain with thunder and lightning is projected for Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces. On Tuesday, Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces could experience heavy to very heavy rain alongside thunder and lightning, while Koshi and Karnali provinces might see heavy rain at specific spots.
