Karan Pariyar Crowned Winner of Nepal Idol Season 5

Kathmandu: Karan Pariyar from Bardiya has emerged victorious in the fifth season of the popular singing competition, Nepal Idol.
The grand finale, held on Saturday evening, saw Pariyar triumph over finalists Mohit Bhujel, Salomi Gurung, and Sachin Bishwakarma, securing his win based on audience votes.
As the winner, Pariyar received a cash prize of NPR 2.5 million. Salomi Gurung from Pokhara secured the second place, taking home NPR 1 million. Sachin Bishwakarma from Darjeeling was awarded the third place with a prize of NPR 500,000, while Mohit Bhujel, also from Darjeeling, finished fourth and received a scooter.
The judging panel for this season comprised renowned figures in the Nepali music industry: Nhu Bajracharya, Kaliprasad Baskota, and Indira Joshi.
