Kathmandu: Spain has set a new record in Eurocup football by winning its fourth title, the most in the tournament's history. In a thrilling final match on Sunday night, Spain triumphed over England with a 2-1 victory.

The match saw Nico Williams and Mikel Oyarzabal score for Spain, with Williams finding the net in the 47th minute and Oyarzabal adding another in the 86th minute. England's Cole Palmer scored in the 73rd minute, but it was not enough to secure the win.

With this victory, Spain adds another European Cup title to its achievements, having previously won in 1964, 2008, and 2012. This victory marks Spain's fifth appearance in a Eurocup final.

England, on the other hand, has become the runner-up for the second consecutive tournament. In the semi-finals, Spain defeated France with a 2-1 scoreline, while England overcame the Netherlands with the same score to reach the final.

Spain and England have faced each other 27 times in total, with Spain winning 13 matches and England winning 14. Three games have ended in a draw. In the previous Eurocup held in 2020, England was defeated by Italy in the final, also finishing as the runner-up.
