Argentina Wins Copa America Title for Record 16th Time

Kathmandu: Argentina has claimed the Copa America football tournament title, securing a record 16th win after a 1-0 victory over Colombia in the finals held on Monday morning in Miami, USA. Lautaro Martinez scored the decisive goal in the 112th minute of the game for Argentina.

The final match, which started 1 hour and 22 minutes late, ended in a goalless draw after the scheduled 90 minutes. With just eight minutes left in the added 30 minutes of extra time, Martinez scored a brilliant goal, leading Argentina to victory.

Argentina's captain, Lionel Messi, was injured during the game and had to leave in the 66th minute. He was visibly emotional and shed tears several times after being fouled.

Throughout the match, Colombia dominated possession with 53 percent and had half a dozen shots on goal. However, the Argentinian goalkeeper made excellent saves, thwarting Colombia's attempts.
