The epicenter was located around Darma in Mugu, according to the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Centre in Lainchaur. The tremor occurred at 4:40 am, causing concern among local residents.
This follows a recent earthquake in Taplejung, an eastern hilly district of Nepal, on July 10. Nepal has been experiencing several minor earthquakes recently, highlighting the country's vulnerability to seismic activity.
