Kathmandu: President of the Nepali Congress and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba emphasized that Nepal’s rich cultural heritage is reflected in its various festivals, with Haritalika Teej holding special significance for Nepali women. "Festivals are our identity and pride," Deuba remarked in a message on the occasion of Haritalika Teej.

Highlighting the importance of Teej, Deuba noted that it symbolizes the return of married daughters to their natal homes, fostering stronger family ties. He emphasized that the festival plays a key role in promoting mutual love, harmony, and sisterhood, which helps to strengthen unity within society.

Deuba extended his warm wishes, hoping that the festival brings happiness, peace, and prosperity to families, society, and the entire country.
