Heavy Rain Likely in Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki Provinces

Kathmandu: The weather across Nepal is expected to be partly to mostly cloudy today, with light to moderate rain, thunder, and lightning predicted in some areas of Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.
According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, heavy rain is possible in one or two locations within Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, and a storm may occur in parts of the Tarai region in Koshi.
These conditions are influenced by a low-pressure system in West Bengal and surrounding areas, along with ongoing monsoon activity across the country.
Tonight, the weather will remain partly to mostly cloudy, with the likelihood of light to moderate rain in parts of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki.
