Kathmandu: A total of six ordinances were tabled in the House of Representatives on Friday.
On behalf of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Prithvi Subba Gurung, presented the 'Ordinance to Amend Some Nepal Acts on Promotion of Good Governance and Public Service Delivery, 2081'. He stated that the ordinance was introduced to immediately amend certain laws to enhance public service delivery.
Similarly, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel tabled three ordinances:
1. 'Ordinance on Economic Work Procedure and Fiscal Accountability (1st Amendment), 2081'
2. 'Privatization (1st Amendment), 2081'
3.'Ordinance to Amend Some Laws on Reform in Economic and Commercial Atmosphere and Investment Promotion, 2081'
Additionally, Minister for Land Reform, Cooperatives, and Poverty Alleviation, Balram Adhikari, presented:
4. 'Ordinance to Amend Some Nepal Acts Relating to Cooperatives, 2081'
5. 'Ordinance to Amend Some Nepal Acts Relating to Land, 2081'
