Nepal Falls 2-0 in Final as Myanmar Secures Victory

Kathmandu: Myanmar has emerged victorious in the Four-Nations Women's International Football Championship, defeating hosts Nepal 2-0 in the final at Dasharath Stadium on Wednesday.
A sold-out home crowd witnessed Myanmar score twice in two minutes during the second half. Yu Per Khaing broke the deadlock in the 62nd minute, followed by captain Win Theingi Tun, who doubled the lead in the 64th minute.
Nepal reached the final after securing wins over Kyrgyzstan and Lebanon. In the league stage, Nepal and Myanmar played a 2-2 draw, with both teams advancing to the final.
Despite the loss, Nepal’s Renuka Nagarkote was honored as the best footballer of the championship.
