Before the ordinances are tabled, the Nepal Legal Practitioners' Council (Second Amendment) Bill, 2081, originally passed by the Upper House, will be presented with accompanying remarks.
The government initially introduced six ordinances, but only five are being tabled following opposition from Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) and Loktantrik Samajwadi Party (LSP) against the Ordinance to Amend Some Nepal Acts Relating to Land, 2081.
Meanwhile, the ruling Nepali Congress and CPN (UML) have issued directives for their HoR members to attend the session and support the ordinances.
