24 More People Apprehended Over Tinkune Incident

Kathmandu: The police have arrested 24 more individuals for their alleged involvement in the March 28 violence at Tinkune, Kathmandu.

According to Superintendent of Police (SP) Apil Raj Bohara, the newly apprehended individuals are suspected of participating in arson, vandalism, and violent demonstrations, which resulted in two casualties. They were arrested from various locations across Kathmandu as part of the ongoing investigation.

Prior to these arrests, the authorities had already taken 41 people into custody for their suspected roles in the Tinkune incident. The investigation into the violent demonstration and its causes is still underway.
