UML’s Second Statutory General Convention Kicks Off in Godavari

Kathmandu: The second statutory general convention of the CPN (UML) begins today (Friday) at Sunrise Hall in Godavari, Lalitpur. The three-day convention will be formally inaugurated by Prime Minister and party chairman KP Sharma Oli at 11 am.
Large Participation Expected
According to party sources, a total of 2,341 participants, including 2,260 delegates and 315 organizers, will take part in the gathering.
Preparations Along the Route
To welcome attendees, 18 reception gates have been installed along the nearly 10-kilometer stretch from Satdobato to Godavari, leading to the convention venue.
Slogan of the Convention
The UML has chosen the slogan:
“Building a decisive national power is our resolve, happy Nepalis are a prosperous Nepali national destination.”
