Ballot Paper Printing Nears Completion Ahead of Falgun 21 House Elections

Kathmandu: The printing of ballot papers for the upcoming election of members of the House of Representatives, scheduled for Falgun 21, has reached its final stage.

70 Percent Printing Completed
According to Janak Education Materials Center, around 70 percent of the total ballot paper printing target has been completed so far. The center has already printed 14.28 million ballot papers out of the total requirement.

Printing Work Intensified
The center has been assigned the task of printing a total of 28.3 million ballot papers for the election. In recent days, printing activities have been intensified, with 1.116 million ballot papers produced within a span of just 24 hours.

Packing and Dispatch in Progress
Alongside printing, packing work is also being carried out on a priority basis to ensure the safe delivery of ballot papers to the concerned districts. So far, 11,478 boxes of ballot papers have been packed, including 1,226 boxes packed in the last 24 hours.

Sample Ballots for Voter Education
The center has also printed 198,200 sample ballot papers and handed them over to the Election Commission for voter education purposes, as requested by the commission.

Delivery Target Set for Early Falgun
Janak Education Materials Center stated that additional manpower and machinery have been mobilized to complete the remaining 6.6 million ballot papers within the next few days. The target is to deliver all ballot papers to the offices of district election officers within the first week of Falgun.
