President Poudel Calls Federal Parliament Session for Baisakh 17

Kathmandu: Ram Chandra Poudel has summoned a session of the Federal Parliament for 2:00 PM on Thursday, Baisakh 17.
According to the President’s Office, the session of both houses will be held at the Federal Parliament Building in Singha Durbar, following the recommendation of the Council of Ministers made on Baisakh 8. The session has been called in accordance with Article 93(1) of the Constitution of Nepal.
This upcoming session will function as the budget session of the parliament. The government is constitutionally required to present the national budget for the fiscal year 2083–84 on Jestha 15.
