Kathmandu: The establishment faction of the Nepali Congress has opened a new liaison office in Chundevi, Kathmandu, as part of its efforts to strengthen party coordination and organizational activities.

The office was officially inaugurated on Monday by senior party leader Purna Bahadur Khadka. Following the inauguration, members of the Central Working Committee elected during the party's 14th General Convention held a meeting at the newly established office.

Discussions Focus on Strengthening the Party
Speaking after the meeting, party leader Min Bahadur Bishwakarma said discussions centered on making the Nepali Congress stronger and more united in the coming days.

He acknowledged that while the Congress had long been the country's largest political force, its influence has declined in recent years. However, he expressed confidence that the party could regain its position through greater unity and organizational strengthening.

"We are committed to making the Nepali Congress stronger, more united, and restoring it as the country's leading political party," Bishwakarma said.

Call for Unity Within the Party
Bishwakarma stressed that all leaders and cadres must work together to rebuild the party's strength and public support.

He said unity among party members would be essential for the Nepali Congress to overcome recent setbacks and re-establish itself as the nation's leading political force in the years ahead.
