Kathmandu: The cost of petrol and diesel has seen an increase in Nepal. A recent meeting of the Nepal Oil Corporation's (NOC) Board of Directors has resulted in an adjustment to the prices, with diesel going up by Rs 14 per liter and petrol experiencing a rise of Rs 5 per liter.

Following this adjustment, the new consumer prices will be Rs 175 per liter for petrol, while diesel and kerosene will cost Rs 164.5 per liter, according to information provided by NOC sources.

This change comes as a response to the upward shift in market prices of petrol and diesel in India, prompting Nepal to align its prices accordingly.

The adjustments in fuel prices can impact various sectors of the economy and consumers' daily lives, and it remains important for individuals and businesses to consider these changes in their financial planning.
