Event to Promote Nepal's Tourism Held in China

Kathmandu: A tourism promotion event was held in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, China, to encourage Chinese citizens to visit Nepal. The event, which took place on Thursday, saw the participation of over 200 attendees, including hotel entrepreneurs from Nepal and China, members of the Nepali community in Chengdu, media representatives, and Chinese tourists.

The event was organized by the Consulate General of Nepal in Chengdu in collaboration with the Nepal Tourism Board and the Hotel Association of Nepal (HAN).

During the occasion, Nepal's Consul General, Suresh Raut, urged the Chinese community, particularly tourism entrepreneurs, to visit Nepal. He assured that all necessary efforts would be made to ensure the convenience of Chinese tourists during their stay in Nepal.

HAN President Binayak Shah expressed the enthusiasm of Nepal's tourism entrepreneurs to welcome an increasing number of tourists from China, with a commitment to providing high-quality hospitality services.

Additionally, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) aimed at promoting mutual cooperation was signed and exchanged between HAN and Sichuan Travel Agency.
