During the visit, Dr. Lama advocated for the initiation of regular flights from China to the Gautam Buddha International Airport. He highlighted that such connectivity would significantly promote tourism in Lumbini and facilitate the global dissemination of Buddha's teachings.

In a related event, Thakur Kumar Shrestha, President of the Chamber of Commerce Rupandehi, and his team submitted a memorandum to Minister Ruifeng. The document emphasized the need for the operation of the Gautam Buddha International Airport, aiming to enhance the region's accessibility and tourism potential.
